Volunteer: Pantry Support

We are seeking a friendly and dependable volunteer to assist at our food pantry location once per week. This role plays an important part in helping pantry shoppers move smoothly through the pantry.

Volunteers in this role will assist as needed in the pantry. That may include assistance with check-in, help guide shoppers through the lobby, shopping and understanding point system, computer help or weighing shopping carts.

This opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people, offering hospitality, and supporting an efficient and welcoming pantry experience. No heavy lifting is required, and training will be provided.

Your support helps ensure that shoppers are welcomed, informed, and able to move through the pantry with ease.

This role may include basic computer use for account creation and check-in; no advanced computer skills are required, and training will be provided.

Program: Dorothy Day Food Pantry - Moorhead, MN
