Churches United was formed in 1987 by a group of eleven local faith groups out of the old Bethesda Lutheran Church. The number of supporting faith communities has grown to over 100 these last 35 years. Churches United is now comprised six locations across the Fargo-Moorhead community with three shelters, two food pantries, and a permanent supportive housing complex.
